The food server in breakfast was super nice and friendly. Also the host was very kind ! Although the bathroom was not at its best, the room was comfortable and quiet.

Terrible Customer Service

The hotel did not have water. Vera the receptionist knew the water was coming around 8:00pm or maybe not at all. We checked in around 2:00pm flighting all day from Atlanta not able to shower. Around 6:00pm my friend asked the receptionist to moved us to another hotel and she moved us to a partner hotel… why she didn’t do that in the first place??? She sent us walking with our bags to the other hotel, I won’t recommend this hotel at all. We paid a taxi and the other hotel (Egina) charged us for 2 bottles of water…

The area of this hotel is the best asset. LOCATION LOCATION. Good breakfast , staff is excellent, room are nice. But nice upper income SAFE neighborhood with beautiful vegetation all around. Within 4 block of all the cafe, bars and restaurants you will ever need.

The staff was excellent, but they speak very minimal English, so be ready. They were friendly, attentive and professional. Location is amazing, tree-lined clean streets near the university, restaurants, shops and it is quiet. Room super clear, comfortable with great view. But, the only lights were ceiling mounted flood lights, no lamps. The lights are super bright and a bit uncomfortable. Reading lamps were broken and hanging loose, and electrical outlets need replacing as they won't hold a plug securely. Other than that, excellent stay and we'd go back for sure.

This hotel is located in one of the safest neighbourhoods of Medellin, The Laureles. If you are looking for any type of food or drink, google it and you will find it 3-10 minutes walking away from this hotel. For example, the famous Mondongo restaurant is 7 minutes walking in a straight line. Any type of Colombian or western coffee is 3-5 minutes walking away. The Unicentro Shopping Mall is 15 minutes walking away. The hotel decoration is amazing … I loved the fish tank and guest sitting area on the second floor. The daily free buffet breakfast was very good … average compared to other hotels. My only issue is that the lead servant insists on serving hot drinks by himself. He did not allow to pour my own coffee. Oh… I forgot … the coffee is tasteless … hence, I opted to hot chocolate. The room is clean … the bed cover had a stain on it. There is an air condition unit and TV. There is a mini fridge. I liked the washroom despite the awkward shape. My biggest two issues with the room are: there is no Safe 😢 … and the room does not have windows and when you turn off the only light in the room which is the ceiling light, it is very dark and you cannot see anything. I encourage the property management to add a safe in the room and add a table light. Maybe property management needs to sleep a night in the room to live my experience. The reception staff were very friendly. Though, no one speaks English.

Be prepared for anyone in this area not to speak much English. These days with translation apps it's not that much of a deal. This area is a very safe area and has some options to dine. However, most attractions in Medellin are a long way from the hotel and require often navigating the heavy traffic so allow a lot of extra time reach any destination. The hotel is clean and comfortable and the staff friendly. The breakfasts are also good to get you started in the morning.

I had a good experience at this small hotel in Laurales. The area is great, a few mins walk to many supermarkets, restaurants, parks etc. Staff are friendly and attentive but don’t speak English, which is fine once you know basic Spanish. Breakfast is tasty and has a good variety. The rooms are a little outdated style wise but they have air conditioning (rare for Medellin) and good hot water. Overall good value!
