Great hotel on Canal Park. Stayed here due to location and am happy with the decision. Staff was friendly. We were here on December when there was a hockey tournament near by, that was the only issue. The boys running up and down the halls and banging on doors. Would request a lake view and not pool side next time.

The room was o.k. a little dirty but o.k. Bed was TERRIBLE. They need to put new mattresses in this whole place. The breakfast was awful. Need a new cook and more items. very skimpy. This place is not as good as it used to be. We are going to be staying somewhere else next time. I'm a repeat customer for over 20 years and i'm not sure i'm coming back. The price of the room isn't great for what you get. Other hotels in the area are less money and get a much better room and breakfast.

This hotel is outdated and dirty. Our room had food all over the floor. The bathroom had hair on the floor. The floors were not cleaned. We stayed on the first floor and the room was very noisy. Staff at front desk was helpful.

our stay was great- 1st time at this property- have been too and stayed in Duluth MANY times, this is a hotel I would return too on another trip! A plus- it had a Sauna- and a rooftop pool we were not aware of, so this was a nice bonus! Breakfast is one of the better ones we have had- breakfast room is a great size, not crowded by people, room to move - only downfall there was no 'meat' for breakfast (bacon/sausage) otherwise staff was friendly and nice, and I would definitely recommend and will definitely stay again.
