Very handy location for an early flight

Odd mattress, really hard with a too soft topper, is what it felt like. Strange to get comfy on. Very well insulated against plane noise, so good for sleeping. Food downstairs in the bar, very overpriced. We had the prawn and crayfish salad, and the Caesar salad. Totally underwhelming. 2 soft drinks, and 2 salads.... £55 including "service" when you order at the bar, so the service consists of them delivering 2 salads. For the convenience of a 7:30am flight I'd consider staying again, but ensure I'd eaten before arriving.

Great hotel for Gatwick

Great hotel, perfect for quick access into Gatwick, especially North terminal. Hotel clean and very nice. Staff very welcoming. The room was great but the lighting was very dull, making makeup and anything you need to organise in the cases tricky. The mattress was far too soft that you just rolled into the middle, offering no support sadly. It would have been nice to biscuits in the room also. Just a welcoming gesture.

Perfect in every sense less one very minor detail.

Everything was spot on. I only had one observation to make for the gym - I was unable to locate a washroom next to the gym. Every time I needed to use one during my workout, I would have to travel all the way to my room.

We thought the hotel was very good, no noise at all and extremely comfortable bed! The only downside was the children's bed this had hard springs at the top of the mattress and my daughter slept with a pillow underneath her to make this ok for sleeping.
