Normally I stay at this property for convenience during transits. However, this time was horrible. I got my room after waiting nearly all morning while watching everyone after me get their room. That was not the big issue - it was the unsanitary conditions in room 6056. The toilet had problems and the room reeked with sewage. I reported the issue around 2 pm with the front desk and was assured an engineer would come by. I got back around 8 pm and inquired again with the front desk but was told the issue was not reported in her system - she’d said an engineer. A person came by and later said we needed to wait for the toilet to fill with water for 15 seconds. That didn't help - and smell of sewage was so bad that I vomited. I had to call the front desk and we were moved much later. I went back to the front desk the following morning to speak to the hotel manager but was told he/she was unavailable. I explained to the front desk what happened and was told the manager would contact me. That never happened. Horrible service - paying to sleeping a sewer smelling room.

After waiting all morning for my room (6056) while others were being placed in mine, I was finally given my room at 11:00 pm. The BIG PROBLEM was they placed me in a room with sanitary issues - the toilet didn't work and the smell of sewage was obvious. I reported the problem with the front desk around 1:30 pm was told they'd get their engineer to look at it. I returned around 8 pm and asked the front desk if the problem was fixed. The front desk told me no record of my request was in their system but would send an engineer. The engineer came and later told me to wait 15 seconds for the water to fill up - the room smelled like sewage. I vomited from the stench and got the front desk to move me to another room. I was exhausted and sick by the time we were moved to another room. How could their housekeeping not tell their was something wrong? How could management allow unsanitary conditions be part of their hotel? I asked to speak to management the next but he/she was busy. The front desk took my complaint and I received no call from their manager! So much for guest services.

To mitigate that black mold in the bathroom. That is a health scare specially for people with asthma like me. Otherwise, the staff are amazing and other areas are clean.
