Stayed at Toyoko Inn Cebu overall, it’s a clean, safe, and well-maintained hotel. The free breakfast is good and the airport shuttle service is definitely a nice feature for travelers. However, there’s an issue with their airport shuttle policy. The service doesn’t operate 24 hours, it only starts at 6:00 a.m. Unfortunately, my flight was early, and when I mentioned it upon check-in, the staff said they couldn’t accommodate before 6 a.m. On departure day, I found out the driver could actually go as early as 5:30 a.m. if I had made a reservation, which I did mention days before, but they failed to book it. As a result, our slot was given to others, and we ended up taking a taxi instead. It was a bit disappointing after informing them in advance, but aside from that, the stay was comfortable. ✅ Overall: Clean, safe, and convenient — but the shuttle service system needs improvement.

I can’t wait till I am back in the Philippines! This hotel is a home away from home. The staff is always kind, informative, and warm welcoming. The housekeeping are sweet, trust worthy, and hardworking. The resturaunt staff are friendly and work quickly on getting meals to customers. Special shout out to Kaye who will always greet you with a smile and very courteous, she is very dedicated and professional to her job. For the price and for a short stay, this hotel is an excellent choice. I usually stay here for a two-night layover when arriving in or leaving Cebu before heading to my final destination. The complimentary breakfast buffet is quite good, and the free airport shuttle is very convenient, all included in the rate. The hotel is also located right above a mall, making it easy to shop, dine at a wide variety of restaurants, or even visit salons, with direct access from the hotel.

It was convenient to the mall. It took the next day to realize the elevators took us there. It was clean besides a stain on a pillow. There was only a bed sheet instead of a fitted sheet. I liked it had a little fridge and dining table. The bathroom reminded me of a motorhome style. It had a little souviner shop downstairs, I wish it was stocked with more stuff. Breakfast was neat. I like the cafeteria/self serve style. I would stay again if in the area for a night or two.
