The fact that we couldn't speak much Spanish, it would have been nice if the gentlemen working the front desk knew a bit more English. The young lady at the desk when we arrived was very helpful. There also seemed to be a shortage of towels. There were two of us staying in our room. Some days they did not give enough towels for the two of us, and one day we didn't receive any towels at all. We had to call the front desk. The restaurant was nice, and the food was good. However, I did feel a bit uncomfortable with the wait staff. I had a feeling they were discussing us and not in a good way.

NH Madrid Ribera del Manzanares was everything I expect from a quality hotel. The room was clean and the service was exceptional. The staff was very courteous and helpful with any questions my wife or I had.

The mattress in room 409 was like sleeping on the floor, it was so extremely hard, it didn't even feel like a matteress, I was not sleep fot the three nights I stayes there. Also the bathroom does have a fan so it's very inconvenient.

The hotel is close to down town by walking 15 min or car about 8 minutes. The hotel doesn’t offer coffee maker or tea maker in the room as there is no water bottle placed as a courtesy. The price at the lobby for a water bottle is $4.50 a bit excessive so as the room price in my opinion, maybe it was a high season.

Hotel with park view and walking paths

Great hotel in a good location. If you don't mind walking to the main site areas it is situated along the river Manzares with lovely park lanes bordering the river . Quiet rooms with nice views over the park. Breakfast options are plentiful. Pleasant staff . Ciuld use ironing boards and an iron in the room.

Close enough to the city center where you can take a bus right outside the hotel, but far enough where it's not noisy or crowded. It's also situated by the river where many locals are seen exercising from the early hours. The breakfast buffet was a great source of nourishment before our daily hikes around the city.

After traveling all over Europe it was nice to be at this hotel since it was close to many restaurants and famous landmarks. Not only that if you want to workout you can follow the river and take a stroll in the morning or late evening.
