I booked this hotel for the many reviews about its cleanliness and friendly management team. While the management was very nice upon arrival, I can’t honestly say the cleanliness part was true. When we arrived there was hair on the floor in the bathroom, and smudges on the countertop. Not great but, it’s just one night so im willing to overlook those things. Fast forward to bed time…a roach on the headboard. When we try to get it he leaped onto and then under the bed. Needless to say it was a terrible nights sleep. I was itchy and jittery and anxious about the bug and the dirtiness. I wish I wasn’t, but it’s just how im wired. All that being said I did speak to management in the morning. She wondered why I didn’t get out of bed at 1030 to alert them and change rooms. I felt this silly because if there’s a roach in my room surely there are in others? I can’t say for sure. I informed her I wanted to speak to management about a refund. I should be hearing soon she said but it’s been 24 hours now with no word. I think this review will take 24 hours before posting they comp my stay. It was an awful night. 120$ for a terrible time. I will say, it was fairly quiet, accessible. It was raining so we didn’t stay in the pool but it looked nice. Our bathroom while dirty did smell exactly like curry which is another positive thing. I never give these reviews but it was a tough week. A week where I just needed one good nights sleep so I could keep on going. This is my honest review.

Very clean and well run. Beautiful pool and courtyard area. And what is rare for hotels these days, the room was serviced each day. Colleagues at the same conference I was attending were complaining about much higher dollar hotels on the north side of town - I told them to consider the best Western next time.
