I walked into my room and turned around and walked out and cancelled the reservation. I did not feel safe staying there. Locks not properly secured and bathtub covered in cigarette burns even though I had requested a non- smoking room. Disappointed it was even listed on Expedia as an option.

Motel 6 is one of the very few hotels accepting dogs in Lubbock, TX. The hotel is very modest, but in the circumstances I am glad that they are in operation to accomodate peoples with dog.

This property is extremely unsafe and in terrible condition. The accommodations were filthy, broken down, and clearly not maintained. Upon arrival, I was greeted not by staff, but by individuals openly loitering and using drugs in the parking lot. I witnessed behavior that made me feel deeply uncomfortable and unsafe — including seeing someone partially undressed right outside the entrance as I was checking in. For my own safety, I immediately left and chose to stay elsewhere. The management can keep my money — I consider it a small price to pay to avoid what could have been a dangerous situation. If you're looking for a secure, clean, and professional place to stay, look elsewhere.

On arrival…People dumpster diving in trash bin, no security around, check in front office Staff member did not care. Room was filthy, stains all over walls, broken toilet handle, stained/dirty toilet, chipped bath tub stained counters, cheap bedding, dirty floors, room faucet sprayed everywhere. Pool looked like a green swamp. Courtyard not maintained, dog poop everywhere including concrete steps to second floor, broken stair handles. Needs to be shut down.

Check in was good and then everything fell apart. there was no remote in our room. The young man who checked us in, was outside having a cigarette break, I asked for another bath towel and wash cloth and also a remote control. He told me that he would bring them to our room, he never did. The bed was terrible, impossible to sleep on can't ever explain who lumpy & broken it was. Bulbs were out. there was no extra lock on the door. I found a goat head in the sheets. The room was so beat up it looked like it hadn't been cleaned. sheets were stained. Some of the floor tiles were loose and caused some tripping. The room smelt like someone had been smoking in it, if not then it the smell was coming in from outside. the bathtub looked like it was had burned several marks with cigarettes Check out, there was no bell to get someone to help. Next to one side of the bed, there was a fridge being used as an end table. The fridge dept kicking on and off every few minutes. When the room was booked, they only had a couple of rooms left. We didn't move to another room because were probably would have been up on the second floor and being seniors that would have been too hard for us. The air conditioner was so noisy. there was good water pressure in the shower.

Absolutely Horrible

Absolutely horrible. I had so many issues with the hotel, I won't even go into details. It should definitely be removed from Hotels.com if at all possible.
