The man who checked me into the front desk was extremely courteous. Almost everything else about this hotel is subpar, though. The queen suite has a bathroom that is comparable to what I would expect in a penitentiary. The carpet? I am not sure it has ever been cleaned. And to top it all off, the in room TVs do not work properly. Surprisingly, that alone would not have been enough to provoke me to write a negative review. However, the lack of customer service from the employees "patrolling" the dining area is. It is not even necessarily their fault. They are clearly taking direction from upper management, and are likely not being paid well enough to justify all of their job duties as is. So, this is directed at Hilton as an entity. The policy to remove hotel guests eating "outside food" from one part of your dining area, and force them to go to the back of the hotel and eat at those tables is insane. I would have understood this request if the dining area was busy. Even if it was 25 percent full. But, when 80 percent of the tables in the dining area are vacant, and you still force people to move based on "company policy" it indicates you value rules over common sense and customer experience. Not to mention, if you had a better menu selection many guests would be happy to stay in and eat. I drove to Texas roadhouse in the rain snd carried the food in to avoid eating from your menu. What does that tell you? Do better Hilton. Sincerely- (now) former "Honors Member".

Inside was cool with all the greenery and trees/plants, water and fish. The building is old and rooms were decent but a bit run down. Indoor pool was cold…heater wasn’t working properly but the kids still had a blast, they are older 7 and 10 so they can handle it. On the upside they have complimentary alcoholic drinks and snacks in the evening and the complimentary breakfast was really good.

Our check in time was delayed by an hour. They didn’t offer anything while we waited, just said leave a number we’ll call you. They didn’t call, I just happened to go up to the desk to ask an unrelated question and the woman working at the desk said the room was ready. She also wasn’t rude but came across a little short - probably because people were annoyed at delayed check-ins but that wasn’t our fault.

We have repeatedley stayed here for birthdays an other ocassions an have always been accomadated, but this time was SURELY different, i dont know if a new management has been input but if so the changes are horrible, we had no clean towels after the 3 in the room were used when we booked for 4 people to be staying, one of the kitchen staff look like whoopie goldberg was very rude to my child but when approached became friendly an then rude again as i stepped away, the fire alarm went off for about 20mins straight at around 9:30am to about 9:55 am, our cards locked us out of the room about 4 times an had to continuously go get them reset, the new manager was seen was TO controling, approached a family that was eating at the tables an began to explain a food policy an how they werent able to eat where they were, an before i could get involved the lady surely let him know his place, explaining that they HAD to eat there because they ALSO had been locked out of there room several times, it honestly ridiculous every bit of it, as if this hotel is something to compare to a ritz carlton or a hotel off the strip in miami beach, no.
