Not a bad spot but does need some revamping. Cold in winter with only oldschool heaters. Towels felt like rags. Staff were super helpful and kind. Bit overpriced IMO for the facilities.

I booked the Angus hotel for September 2025 because of it's 8.2 rating. The hotel experience showed a 4.0 would have been a more suitable rating. The first room didn't have a working heater so we moved to another room. In the second room the heater barely heated the room. The second room didn't have a microwave, the toilet worked intermittently, there was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. The hallway ceiling to our room was patched up with different materials and in some places showing mold. The restaurant was good and the staff were excellent. They said a renovation was planned.
