No hot water and bed was broke they came and fixed bed.water was tricky had to run for about hslf hour then it would get hot. Gave us 15% off for inconvenience I see other reviews had the same hot water issues should have read that first it was our honeymoon 😔

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Best Western Hawthorn in Chicago, and it was a delightful experience! The location was simply amazing, offering easy access to local attractions and a vibrant atmosphere. The hotel itself was cutely decorated, creating a warm and welcoming ambiance that made me feel right at home. What truly stood out during my stay was the cleanliness of the room. Everything was spotless, which added to my overall comfort. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with any requests. The Executive suite had a very nice layout and was spacious. The sheets had lent balls on it. The bed was comfy. I had to call housekeeping for an additional blanket...not available in closet. Restaurant staff, valet and housekeeping staff was friendly. Maintenance was also friendly and helpful. The front desk staff wasn't as friendly and welcoming or knowledgeable about amenities offered(toothbrush kit) that was available in case you forget yours like I did. I was told that they didn't have complimentary toothbrushes. I had to call housekeeping to inquire and they brought me one up to room. My room was changed 2x for heating not working and for mildew/damp smell in room.

The room was so warm and comfortable upon check-in, which was a lovely touch considering how cold it was outside. The room was extremely spacious! It would have been good if there was a buffet breakfast rather than ordering a set meal from a menu. Also, the thinness of the bed cover could have been replaced with something thicker due to the cold weather outside, the windows give off a draught.

The room was amazing and clean. It is the perfect place to stay, especially when you go to an event at the Yum center ! Its connected ! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. And the valet service is perfect! Cant wait to stay there again

Very clean property nicely decorated inside and out the room was very clean and very well put together. The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful and the room was very accessible for not being an accessible room. We did not request an accessible room, but I am very happy to say that it was very accessible nonetheless extremely nice hotel.

Check-in service was exceptional! Very personable staff, and they helped us sort out parking, as well as went above and beyond making sure we knew where to go. It felt like we were chatting with old friends. Our room was fine and clean, though there was one light that didn’t work (room 1106 entry light). It wasn’t an issue for us, but just so you are aware for maintenance. The bed itself was fine, but for a December stay, we would have expected thicker blankets. It felt like we were just sleeping with a double sheet. Also, for a king size bed, the pillows were quite small. Both of these factors led to a less comfortable night of rest, which was unfortunate. That being said, the hotel is beautiful and clean. The skybridge was awesome! We went to an event at the KFC Yum Center and it was so convenient to be able to just walk back to our room afterward. Overall, it was a great experience, we just wish there were winter blankets.
