Elevators and hallways could be cleaner. The stairs doing down to the Bistro need to be brighter. Food options are excellent. The restaurant by the golf course is very nice with great view of the ocean. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Overall we are very pleased with our vacation.

Amazing property! Stunning resort, beautiful ocean water, food quality , exceptional. Very clean, golf carts to get around were perfect! The grounds are lush and full of fauna flowers all in bloom. Saw a couple of Whales. Dinners were outstanding as well as the service! Definitely would return!

This was our second visit here. I was expecting to have a similar experience but I have to say I was disappointed this time. First, we were there for 5 days and never had hot water! Cold if not like warm showers were awful. Apparently, multiple buildings did not have hot water and this has been going on for some time…. The first night we came back from dinner and water was pouring in from the ceiling at nearly 10 pm from the air conditioner. You could tell by the horrible looks of the ceiling that this was not the first time. They did fix it but did not clean up or offer any apologies. I was more disappointed by the food this time. Tazuna was good but not outstanding like last time. The Zao Shen service was awful this time. The server could seemed inconvenienced by our presence. The La Frida service was all about the upsale. Food was good but I explicitly expressed my despise of onions (tough one in Mex) and everything but one dish still came out with onions. Quivera was great for breakfast but it took FOREVER to get our food. I felt like it was a ploy to get us to succumb to the sales pitch. Kids still enjoyed the trip and did not have any complaints with the ice cream at the Market. Age 10 and 12.

It is a beautiful resort with spectacular views everywhere you go. Pools are great and food is ok. Golf carting everywhere was the main downfall of this resort. Just inconvenient having to wait anytime you go anywhere.

Beautiful resort. Staff was amazing. The only problem we had is they gave us a king bed on the first night. And we had reserved 2 double beds. It was inconvenient to have to change rooms the next day. But other than that, it was a great vacation.

Every room is Ocean View. Amazing views and very well maintained property. Golf Cart rides are the best and a definitely the best experience for kids.

Major Issues with Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach Resort: Extremely isolated – far from downtown Cabo, no nearby attractions or restaurants. Feels like a gated trap – intentionally designed to keep guests confined. No walkable access – everything requires transportation. Shuttle service is a joke – must be booked at 7 am, very limited availability. No rideshares allowed – only overpriced hotel taxis available. In-resort transportation is frustrating – golf carts are always backed up; walking is unsafe due to steep hills and narrow paths. Not family-friendly despite claims – children banned from most restaurants. Very limited dining – only 3 upscale restaurants, long waits, and buffet open just for breakfast/dinner. All-inclusive is misleading – many food items still require payment. No evening entertainment – nothing to do after dark. Beach is unswimmable – dangerous currents; name is misleading. No sunset views – sun sets behind the hotel, not on the beach. To swim, you must leave the resort – expect to spend hundreds on taxi fares. Customer service is cold and unhelpful – front desk dismissive and inflexible. Scammy shuttle charges – prepaid $120 for airport transfer, then told no shuttle available and charged another $90 (including $30 for an infant!). Final Verdict: Overpriced, deceptive, and deeply frustrating. One of the worst travel experiences I've had. Avoid this resort.
