Great hotel and room was good. However heated pool service which they claimed is not true. Also the location of the hotel is dirty. Their roadside sidewalks are unclean and just don’t feel comfortable until you get to newer development which was close atleast.

During our five-night stay at the hotel, our family of four had the pleasure of utilizing the gym, pool, and restaurant. While the gym was compact, it provided all the necessary equipment for a swift workout. The pool, though modest in size, was not an issue due to its lack of crowds. The restaurant offered an exceptional experience, with both delicious food and excellent service.

Great staff and above average amenities. Plenty of entertainment and food within walking distance. The pool area is cozy and the bar area has its own vibe. Not outrageously priced for an upscale hotel, however paying $70+ to park is a little steep.

I had a very disappointing stay at Kimpton La Peer, especially considering the price point and brand reputation. I had a great experience at their Paris location but definitely not here. First, the pre check-in experience was underwhelming. When I arrived around 2:30pm or so, I was assisted by Emanuel, who pointed out that many other 11 groups of guests had already checked in through a priority rewards program. He said he’d notify me when my room was ready—but I never received any notification. I returned around the standard 4 PM check-in time and was finally given a room, but the tone of the interaction felt dismissive and unwelcoming. Things got worse from there. My room faced the courtyard, where the hotel was hosting a private event with loud music and cheering. I had just landed from a long flight and was hoping to rest around 5 PM, but the noise made it impossible to nap. Staff said the event would end by 10 PM, but the music continued well past that, closer to 11 PM. When I raised the issue, the front desk said the hotel was fully booked and couldn’t move me. There was zero accountability and no proactive solution offered. The soundproofing in the rooms is awful, especially for a hotel at this price point. This stay fell far short of expectations in both hospitality and comfort. I wouldn’t recommend staying here—especially not in a room near the courtyard or during weekends when events are likely. I think our room looked ready to be refurbished--almost- bare spots and some cuts in carpeted area. What most caught my eye was that there was no type of armchair in the room! When I called to ask for a chair, I very promptly received what what clearly a chair used for banquets/events. I haven't seen a hotel room--from a Holiday Inn Express to the Four Seasons Wailea--without a chair. --The window shades were great for darkening the room, but getting one of them to stay in its track was difficult. The bottom of it was a bit mangled and had black stains on it. The sheer curtains had some mold or rust stains on them. The towels were very thin. -- Breakfast in the restaurant was excellent, service was great, and all personnel were friendly.
