Customer Service imcompetant staff - lied about early check-in broken door lock/keypad no dishes no bell at front desk no cover on ironing board strong smell of urine, smoke and mold/mildew on all floors

The cust svc rep working the front desk was amazing. He was friendly and helpful. The room was not in great shape. Every time I have stayed here, each room has had its own unique, odd smell. This was no exception. The bathroom light did not work, but we did not have time to report it/switch rooms. And the water pressure in the shower...my god. I understand most hotels throttle the pressure to save money, but the shower heads with the sprinkle of water coming out, in addition to the water pressure being non-existent, makes it nearly impossible to wash your hair unless it's less than an inch long, and the showers end up taking at least twice the amount of time. I think I'm finally at a point where I will be choosing to try out other hotels in the area next time I need a room, as this one is causing more frustration than anything every time I stay.

The staff were very friendly. In my opinion, the front office needs more support, maybe more employees helping with trash duty, and overall janitorial duties.

The first room we checked into, was very smoke-filled, and the stove didn’t work!… After talking to the Night manager, on Sunday, she moved us to the room next-door, which was just like night and day. The room was clean crisp did not smell of stale smoke And had a working stove! At this point, we were very happy and she put her best foot forward to ensure that our needs were met. The staff was nice. The hotel smelled terribly strong of pot, and the room was worn out and in need of a refresh--tears and holes in curtains that didn't fully close, stains, scuffs, water damage to the bathroom counter. Nothing was gross, but a lot of it was just sad.

Worth it
Feels like I’m home even though I was far from home. It’s welcoming, even though we didn’t use the provided kitchen. Food was simple; oatmeal’s, bars and coffee, nothing extremely fancy but at least there’s food. Overall very happy with the price, location and the people working there.
