This is a beautiful property. It appears to have been recently renovated, and the workmanship was superb. The staff at the pub downstairs were welcoming. We'd definitely stay here again!

The Hanbury townhouse was amazing! Super comfy bed, very clean room, beautiful bathroom and considering we were in London it was very quiet! It was a very hot week when we visited but the Dyson fan in our room was so useful and kept us very cool, which is a huge added bonus as we find lots of hotels are uncomfortably hot. On arrival the staff were friendly and attentive despite being busy. We stayed for one evening as we were attending a concert nearby at Union Chapel and it was perfect for our stay. We would definitely stay here again without hesitation. Best place I’ve ever stayed in London.

Awesome little place with newly updated rooms. As someone not from the UK, being in a heatwave was rough in a room with no A/C, but I'm sure it's fine most of the year. Would have liked a top sheet as an option instead of a thick comforter for the heatwave. We had to remove the duvet cover and use it as a thinner blanket... But the Dyson fan did help a lot!

The accommodation is beautifully presented and all the fittings are of a high quality and spotlessly clean. The room was very comfortable and during a heatwave the provided fan was sufficient to keep the room cool enough to be confortable. I spent the evening in the pub (next door and also the reception for the property) which was also well presented and welcoming. I dindt try the evening menu, as I had rather a large lunch but the food emerging from the kitchen looked very appetising. This was a short (15mins?) walk from my client site in Islington and the walk, including crossing the canal, was both pleasant and easy to navigate. This will, no doubt, be my first port of call when visiting that area in the future. Great find.
