Short Stay

It is a nice, well-positioned hotel near Liverpool Street, Spitalfields, and the inner East End. The room was small, so I wouldn't recommend it for a couple or a prolonged stay. But it is good for a short solo city stay or a work need.

The location was okay, off one of the busier streets in Shoreditch, about 10 minute walk from Liverpool Street station. Staff was friendly and the hotel room fairly clean but the biggest downside was the size of the room which was one of the smallest I've ever stayed at. Beside the double bed there's no room for anything else really

I was disappointed at the lack of kettle in my room meaning I couldn’t make myself a morning cup of tea. I found the controls for the heater temperamental and overall the room was very small

Overall Good experience

Room was comfortable modern and adequate for a one night business stop over and very conveniently located for underground and local attractions. A word of warning the rooms are tiny with just enough room to manouver around the double bed. A member of our group was allocated a room in the basement which had no heating and suffered the vibration of the tube line which appears to run underneath. He was offered no alternative and only a small electric fan heater for warmth on a particularly cold night. Hotel is a few steps away from Spittlefield market and numerous eateries.

It’s very new, quiet on the upper floors, comfortable bed. Double check if your room has a window if you want one. Great outdoor garden space on ground floor - biggest I’ve seen in any London hotel, rare for budget hotel. Rooms are small but all budget hotels have small rooms. Shower was decent size, good water pressure, actually nice and hot, with good shower head.

Noisy from adjacent rooms

Really noisy late at night, the acoustics insulation from adjacent rooms was non existent so could hear TV and loud talking until the early hours. I've stayed at this hotel before several times, so maybe just a problem with certain rooms.
