Fabulous Stay

I booked 2 rooms for myself, my partner, my grand-daughter and her partner, as they had organised a day and night out in London. It’s about a 15 minute walk from London Liverpool St station so not far to walk. I’d requested if one room could be available a little earlier than check-in time and they organised it perfectly. It is a beautiful hotel and the rooms and bathrooms are of very good quality. The beds are sumptuous and exceptionally comfortable, we all commented on what a good nights sleep we’d all had. The breakfast was fantastic, not only was there an extensive range, but you could also order hot food to be freshly cooked plus, if you were extra hungry you could go back for more. It was incredibly relaxing to stay there, all the staff were exceptionally kind, helpful and polite. I would thoroughly recommend the Montcalm hotel and would definitely stay there again.

The Hotel was overall impressive. The low score for "staff & service" is purely aimed at the experience we had at the Restaurant on the 10th floor. Overlooking that experience i would recommend staying at this hotel to others.

Almost perfect

Great stay, nice room and good facilities however breakfast was a let down. Had to queue 20 mins for breakfast and queue was on a flight of stairs. Never had to queue for brrakfast so long before as a hotel resident. Also, they kept running out of plates and food / drinks. Some of the plates still had food residues on them
