This is probably one of the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed in, it was absolutely spotless. It’s such a shame that the pictures on the website don’t represent what the hotel is actually like, because it has brilliant potential. Unfortunately, almost everything in my room was broken or falling apart. My bathroom door handle was coming off, so I couldn’t close the door. The headboard fell off the wall while I was watching Netflix with my daughter. I was told I’d been ‘upgraded’ because the air‑con in my original room was broken, but the room I was given had a broken sofa bed that wouldn’t fold back down. I was staying with my daughter, so sharing a bed wasn’t the end of the world, but that’s not really the point, the broken bed that wouldn’t fold down should have been removed from the room. The TV also looked like it was about to fall off the wall, and overall the room just felt very unkept and in need of attention. The man who checked me in was absolutely lovely really friendly and helpful but it’s such a shame that the hotel itself is so run down. With some investment, new furnishings, and a fresh lick of paint, this could genuinely be a lovely place.

It was a slum. No air conditioning, no drier, the washing machine leaked. It was in a sketchy part of town. The door had been broken into. There were dirty towels and linen in the cupboards, the light fixture was hanging down from the ceiling. We left immediately and found an appropriate accommodation. It felt very unsafe. The landowners mail was in the cupboard. The shower was the size of a closet. There wasn’t even room to turn around in it. It was very traumatic. The landowner refused to refund the money.
