Best hotel in Liverpool by a mile

Wonderful hotel, multitude of little extra touches that you just don’t get in other hotels nowadays. Simple check, gift of chocolate and a couple of drinks as it was our anniversary and all staff quick to help. Plenty of staff means no unnecessary waiting for drinks/food.

Stunning Hotel

The municipal is a beautiful building and the interior spaces and the room we stayed in did not disappoint. All the staff were friendly and really helpful. I would definitely recommend and will be staying there again when I visit Liverpool.

Nice modern hotel, super atrium with bar. Very good spa and serves an excellent afternoon tea. Bathroom door needs springs tensioning as it slams shut, unfortunately you can hear this in the room above if you are on the first floor.

Fabulous hotel. The rooms are clean and the beds very comfortable. It was very quiet so we all slept well. It is,in easy walking distance for Albert Dock and numerous restaurants and cafes. The Palm Court bar area is stunningand the cocktails are superb. The hotel obviously focuses on Customer Service as every member of staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Second stay at the Municipal, a great hotel in Liverpool. Pretty sure I'll be back. Only minor flaw was the towel rail in the bathroom which seemed to be constantly on.

Our bedroom was a disappointment, a table lamp with no available plug socket down a very dark part of the room, very stingy with room tea tray. Room like a long narrow cooridor, not big enough to be classed as a double, I would rate this hotel 4 star. The psalm bar is stunning and the food is lovely. xxx

Epic!

I don’t know if there’s been a better hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I booked an extra night in Liverpool specifically to stay a second night in this hotel. The staff, the bed, the afternoon tea, the overall experience was epic. I’ll come to Liverpool again just to stay in this hotel.
