This is the only hotel we stay at when we’re in Lisbon. It is beautiful, a palace after all, the rooms are spotless and we feel that the bathroom is the best you can find, being attractive, functional and very spacious. A delightful stay! This hotel is a hidden gem! Once you walk into the hotel, you are walking back into another era, yet with all of the modern amenities of today. It is in a very convenient location. The history of the Palace is amazing. The 2nd-floor courtyard and the swimming pool were great places to escape from the crowds and action of the vibrant city.

The staff were very good: friendly and attentive. However, the Suite were I stayed was dusappointing. The room, albeit one of the more extensive suites (which included a balcony) is small, the bed of poor quality and the bathroom, too, was small. I stayed at a better hotel in Porto for half the price. I will never go back to The One Palacio da Anunciada. It needs an overhaul.i suspect the management does not have the latitude to make the necessary investment to make it a truly 5 star hotel. The wear and tear are showing. The only good thing at the hotel were the staff, who are professional, kind and attentive. They deserve better from the owners.
