Extremely Disappointing Stay – Holiday Inn Express We recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express at the Airport in Lisbon Portugal and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the hotel was not well maintained. The room was not properly cleaned, and several aspects of the property looked neglected. This falls far short of the standards we expected from a hotel under the Holiday Inn Express name. What made the experience even more frustrating was the response from staff. We had asked to speak with the manager regarding our concerns, and while the staff acknowledged this request, no effort was made to follow up or connect us with anyone in charge. We felt ignored and dismissed. This lack of attention to both cleanliness and guest communication is unacceptable. We are sharing this feedback here so that others can make an informed decision, and we sincerely hope the hotel takes steps to improve. Great hotel for late arrivals in to Lisbon.

Myself and my niece stayed here upon arrival into Lisbon as we arrived late at night, 01:00am. We used it as a place to sleep and wake up fresh before moving to a city centre hotel to begin our 5nt stay. Hotel staff were very welcoming, room was clean, fresh abd beds were very comfortable. Price was £99 B&B in mid-July which is great, as our main hotel is £250, so it made economic sense to stay here on night 1 to utilise our main hotel and facilities.

SCAMMED INTO GETTING ANOTHER ROOM. I booked a room with 2 beds and there were 3 of us and the guy at the desk said it’s impossible to have 3 people in 1 room and made me book another. I reached out to corporate and they couldn’t even tell me why. I’ll never stay at any holiday express locations out places they’re affiliated with.
