In the blackout in Portugal as a five star hotel they did not have a contingency plan . The ritz had power all through and this was a slap in the face as I stared at it from my hotel window in the dark

Our visit was wonderful! Would highly recommend to stay here. Service is excellent and friendly at all times. Thank you Sandra for helping us find the perfect suite in the hotel which had an amazing view. We booked a premium suite and loved it! The Italian restaurant Allora has delicious food! We ate there several times and all dishes were incredible. Spa was very enjoyable and relaxing as well. If you have a chance to try the rooftop pool we highly recommend you do so. Gonzalo and Kareem took very good care of us at the concierge desk too. They also helped us order fresh flowers for the room and make reservations. If you are looking for a private tour, you must ask the concierge to book Bruno! He is absolutely amazing!!! Bruno is very knowledgeable, attentive and speaks excellent English. After our first tour we booked him 2 more times. You won’t be disappointed. At the end of our vacation we decided to book our transportation to the airport with Bruno. We could have chosen an Uber, which would have been less expensive but we preferred to have Bruno drive us as he exceeded all of our expectations and made us feel truly comfortable. I can't recommend this hotel enough. The breakfast is fantastic and convenient. All the staff are extremely professional and helpful. Having the indoor and outdoor pool with a steam room and sauna were fantastic after long days of walking around Lisbon. Everywhere is an easy uber ride away or a quick walk to the Parque Metro Station. If I return to Lisbon I will definitely stay here again. ***Also, if you are a cigar or cigarette smoker, they have a dedicated covered open windowed room away from the bar area to enjoy a cigar. Big plus if you want to have a cigar and not have to stand outside or find a park.

We were so happy we decided to stay at the Epic Sana Marques. From the moment we arrived they were so accommodating. Our flight arrived very early and had hoped a room would be ready totally understanding if it wasn’t. A room was ready we were so happy as we know that this isn’t always possible. The breakfast was amazing plenty of offerings. We did use the facilities at the spa which was also very nice. We didn’t use the roof top pool still a bit chilly however some did. We would definitely return to this hotel and highly recommend it to our fiends and family. Thank you Epic Sana Marques for making our stay enjoyable.

This place was even better than i expected. The rooms are amazing, and the city facing views are absolutely incredible. Tip, get a room with a view, its worth it!

Excellent service. The food at all of the restaurants was delicious. The property is gorgeous in the middle of the city. We loved being able to walk anywhere we wanted. Highly recommend.

Five star but with 3 star hotel mindset. Very cheap in offering! We were charged 30 euros for bottle of water.

My stay at this hotel was exceptional in many ways. The property is truly luxurious, from the elegant decor to the high-end amenities. I especially loved the live music in the bar area during the evenings — it created such a relaxing and sophisticated atmosphere. The gym and spa are both top-notch, and the pool area is a beautiful place to unwind. On top of that, the location is fantastic — close to everything yet peaceful enough to feel like a retreat. However, I did have a disappointing experience at the on-site restaurant, Allure. I was told there were no reservations available, only to witness a couple who arrived just after me — also without a reservation — being seated immediately. This felt discriminatory and was very disheartening. It definitely affected my overall impression of the stay. Despite that, the hotel itself is outstanding. I would absolutely consider returning, though I hope the restaurant staff is held to the same high standard as the rest of the property.

Sound proof rooms for a street facing room made all the difference for a good night’s sleep. Very nice amenities and logical layout of the closet area for suitcases.
