Good communication with the host, great neighborhood/convenient, tidy apartment. Only downside was that the apartment was a little cold. Space heaters in the bedrooms kept the rooms warm overnight, but the apartment felt chillier than outside.

This apartment was very clean and beautiful. It is in a great part of the city if you enjoy the night life. You need to know that it is a fourth floor walk up with a beautiful staircase. In this area the streets are filled into the wee hours of the morning with loud, raucous partiers, so it’s very loud every night.

Lovely Apartment, but Be Ready for Stairs and Night Noise

The apartment is charming. However, you should take into account the four flights of stairs to climb with luggage — not ideal for a young family. We stayed one night during a heatwave, and the fans were not enough. Also, with the windows open, the neighborhood was extremely noisy at night.

We were just there for a night but enjoyed the neighborhood. We spent time at a festival in the park. We unfortunately got a parking ticket for parking where only tourist vehicles were allowed to park. We loved it

Great spot! Loved the neighborhood! Had a wonderful saturday night in the nearby park with music and fellow travellers singing and dancing! Perfect place for us three. We highly recommend. Owner was very nice about lettung us drop bags a little early. No complaints.

Great flat in Barrio Alto

Great cozy and spacious flat in Barrio alto area in Lisbon. It's close to the city center and has good amenities and comfort. It's on the 5th floor (no elevator) so this keeps the noise out as this is in a zone with a lot of bars in streets closely. The communication with owner was great and welcoming. Only minor detail is that we went there in winter and it gets quite cold inside (there were particular cold days to be fair). Good value for money.
