Quiet end of Langkawi

Pros: We liked the quiet location.
Cons: Rooms need an update .
Location: Taxis and uber are plentiful, so going anywhere isnt a problem.
We arrived late to our hotel due to a flight delay, our room was very disappointing, with a phone call to the front desk , a visit from a staff member taking photos the night manger agreed that we could change rooms, we looked a two more rooms that weren't much better the last room on the 6th floor was the better of the three. Staff were very helpful. The foyer of the hotel is amazing and you think you are walking into pure luxury. The area is quiet , great shopping centre five minutes walk away, lots of side road pop up resturants. Taxis are cheap , uber is great .

Disappointing

Pros: Foyer, pool and bar areas.
Cons: Lighting in room bathroom.
After experiencing the hotel foyer and pool surrounds which are excellent, the room facilities were disappointing.

Nice hotel

Pros: Good rooms and great pool
Cons: Breakfast needs a massive improvement, this was the let down of our stay. Also need to be able to charge meals and drinks at the inhouse restaurants
Great rooms with own balconies for relaxing and watching the sunset.

Family friendly hotel close to centre of town

The staff welcomed us warmly when we first arrived, and checkin process was smooth. We chose Dayang Bay because it provides next door rooms for family. Overall room condition was fine, but clean and tidy. Breakfast buffet was included too. Overall great experience with Dayang Bay.
