Perfect location - just on the edge of town but only a short walk to the restaurants etc. Staff universally pleasant and helpful. Room very comfortable and spacious with great view.

3rd time here, spread over 34 years. It's a wonderful place. Perfect location on the quiet end of a white-sandy gorgeous beach, looking out to islands. Staff are amazing. So friendly. Resort immaculate. Breakfasts and facilities wonderful. Upgraded rooms look brighter and more modern than I remember. And you're a short walk from main strip, very cheap dinners and shopping. Only a couple of things stopped me from a 5* review - a cockroach in my bathroom. Yikes. And some loud Russians who were oblivious to other guests, would arrive around 1pm at the swim up bar, laughing and shouting and ruining the sublime atmosphere. I could also hear them shouting drunkenly after 11pm one night stumbling back to their rooms. Apart from those 2 things, a perfect stay. Sunsets every night over the Andaman Sea - incredible. If you like palm trees, as I do, you'll love it here...

Fantastic resort. First impression was that it was a bit tired in places but after looking around we loved it. Pool areas and restaurants beautiful and great landscaping. Beech very quiet. Food great and good value. Staff and service very very good. Scenic views across the water. Highly recommend this place. No negatives at all.

This hotel is not a “new, polished” establishment. The buildings are traditional, rustic wood and the gardens are simple. But, the rooms are lovely, the AC works incredibly well, the pool is huge and very instagramable and the restaurants are a good quality and reasonably priced. And the beach is absolutely perfect! If you can do so, splurge for the Seaview Room King (and ask for a ground floor room in building no.7 which is not far from the restaurants and the big pool, plus you get a nice private terrace looking directly at the beach, with steps straight down for a quick dip). I can’t wait to go back!

The grounds of the hotel were absolutely stunning and immaculately maintained. All the staff were extremely polite, approachable and friendly. Both the Spice Market restaurant and the Pelangi Grill were beautiful and reasonably priced. The hotel is stunning and the staff are lovely, they did an excellent job with the new years eve dinner and party. The only issue we had was the number of mosquitoes in our room i had atleast 20 bites despite spraying my room and having the aircon on etc. Understand it is the season for it but it was difficult to sleep comfortably.

The resort itself is beautiful and it’s perfect for a relaxing stay. However, the rooms could be better, we had a lizard in our room and it could’ve been cleaner. Service is a bit hit and miss, we had to actively chase the waiter to take our order after they sat us down.
