Stuff to Do

Not sure where to begin on holidays to Langkawi? Then just start at the top. Make the climb to Gunung Raya, the tallest mountain on the island. That, or ride the cable car up the hill and walk the sky bridge through the jungle.

Where to Visit

On Langkawi, most people live on Pulau Langkawi, by far the largest island. Book one of our Langkawi car hire options and head into the bustle of Kuah on the Strait of Malacca. Or follow the Jalan Ayer Hangat, the main highway, around the island to check out small villages, mangroves and secluded beaches.

Other islands are accessible only by boat and are mostly uninhabited. Tours offer passage to some of the islands, but if you really want to go off the beaten path on Langkawi holidays, charter a boat to visit islands such as Pulau Langgun and Pulau Kentut Besar.
