We were traveling with children, and they loved the hotel pool, played on the playground equipment, went to the indoor play area almost every day, and enjoyed the game room. You could easily spend two days just at the hotel. The hotel's restaurant is also delicious, and the breakfast selection is extensive. I would definitely stay here again the next time I go to Langkawi. However, one problem with traveling with children was that there was singing at the poolside bar until around 10 or 11 pm, and the loud music reached our room because there was no soundproofing, which bothered our children and made it difficult for them to sleep. Soundproofing would be desirable for a family room intended for children.

We had to book the Park Royal as a last minute booking the night we got to Langkawi due to a bad experience at another resort. I was able to book and get to the resort within an hour, and myself and my husband were amazed how beautiful the place was! The room itself was spacious, with a balcony with a handy clothes drying rail built in, the room had all amenities needed - an iron and board, scales, hair dryer etc. everything was clean and tidy. . The shower was great, with the rainfall top and we liked that the shower and toilet were separated. The breakfast was great, a huge selection of fresh and delicious food. We thoroughly enjoyed this! Overall had a great experience here and would highly recommend.
