Wonderful place to stay. Great setup and are sorry to be on a limited timeline as it’d be a great multi day stopover. Make sure to visit Buchan Caves and of course spend time on the beach.

The room was clean and within walking distance to the shops and restaurants. Thoughtful appliances in the room (i.e. coffee machine). If anything, the decor in the room was a little outdated and the room felt dark. Aircon worked well.

Really exceeded our expectations. Reception staff were super friendly and welcoming, and the whole check-in process was smooth. The room was extremely clean and smelled really fresh when we walked in. Bed was comfortable and everything felt well looked after. Also surprisingly quiet at night with pretty good soundproofing, so we had a great sleep. Overall a really comfortable stay and would definitely come back.

Sandbar is an older style motel within walking distance to central Lakes Entrance including hotels and restaurants. What sets it apart is that it is very thoughtfully fitted out and hence has a very welcoming and homely atmosphere. It was very clean and very well maintained. It was very reasonably priced and represented excellent value for money, as witnessed by the fact that it was fully booked on a quiet week day. It was a very pleasant surprise and is highly recommended
