Excellent location with pictuersc views. The room was clean, the staff were friendly and spoke good English, as well as organised a taxi and tour for me. I would highly recommend this location if you’re looking to relax and just enjoy a quiet setting, the sunsets make this also very romantic.

Miserly hotel that will nickel and dime you
Overall this was a poor experience. Despite being billed as a luxury ecolodge, I get the feeling that it is purely a marketing ploy. It was the most expensive hotel of my Peru trip and the least friendly and generous. The hotel is the first after two weeks in Peru that didn't offer water to guests for free and charge 5x the supermarket rate for water. There was no option to have the environmentally friendly option of having filtered water, despite the fact that they have a solar kettle available. So prepare yourself to generate a lot of plastic waste. They also appear to have imported a genetically unsustainable population of Vicunas to the island. Which is great for tourists, but doesn't exactly seem environmentally friendly either. Everything is overpriced including the $30 US buffet where they will look at you aghast if you go back for seconds. Lest you think, "It's an island, everything costs more" remember that the mainland is a 10 minute boat ride away. The roof is inhabited by small rabbit like creatures that like to scurry back and forth so it will sound like there are mice in your room if you stay on the top floor. The massage was decent but they wouldn't let me take the towel with me to the room. Which seems bizarre and again miserly. Lastly the receptionist is just unfriendly. On the plus side, our tour guide Pepe was great. The tour going to the island stopped off at Uros and Taquile was really awesome.

While Isla Suasi is one of the most beautiful places we visited while in Peru, the hotel itself did not offer the experience that was advertised. It was disappointing, and I do not recommend it. We stayed for two nights on the island, and we were two of only four guests at the hotel for our entire stay. Because there were so few of us, I suppose, entire sections of the hotel were dark and unwelcoming. The bar was dark and cold, and we felt as if we were imposing on the staff when we asked for a drink from their cocktail menu. They would keep sections of the dining room dark, even as we were in it to eat dinner. We were limited to eating off of a short menu for lunches and dinners, and the hotel was largely unable to accommodate me as a vegetarian. What's more: the food was the most expensive we ate on our entire 2 weeks in Peru, and it is the only food that made me sick. There were several services that the hotel advertised on their website, but they told us after we had made the 3 hours boat ride to the secluded island that we would not be able to use the kayaks or the sauna at all during our stay. While the staff was friendly, we were not impressed with our time here. It was hugely disappointing and upsetting to feel so uncomfortable and pay so much for an experience that we had planned to be the relaxing capstone of our trip. I would not, unfortunately, recommend visiting Isla Suasi. It is expensive and simply not worth the large amount of money required.

Beautiful get-away-from-it-all
This is a great place to finish your Peru trip, especially if you need to recuperate after being on the go, or trecking. There is no internet, TV or outlets in the rooms, so bring a book! We brought wine with us to have by our own fire, but we should have brought more snacks, there is nothing to eat between meals. The food is very good, but the menu is limited. Our 3rd lunch was the same as the 1st, so we new it was time to go! Getting here is a little pricey but we took the car back to the airport which was nice because we could stay until 4pm instead of taking the boat back at 1230.

Beautiful place but the overall prices is too high
We stayed for one night, the hotel was beautiful, very nice location. We have a lovely and relaxing time, but there is nothing to do there to stay more than one night. Rooms where clean, spacious and nice, but rooms upstarts are too bright in the morning, which is a problem is you like sleeping later than 5:30am. Ask to have a room in the first level. The price of this hotel is not bad at all, but we had to pay substantially to get there ($US 96 per pas), this made the overall price quite high, which precludes me from totally recommending this, I wish the hotel would offer cheaper transport options. The transport includes a tour of two islands, but one is ok and the other one is a joke (Taquile).

The staff is so accommodating and gracious! But be prepared to not be able to easily venture away for activities off the island and around the lake. The appeal to this location is seclusion, and it's what you get! A gorgeous place to experience the quiet side of Titicaca.

Skip Puno town, come straight here!
Amazing getaway, even better than expected. You're on your own island, excellently looked after, you start to relax the minute you arrive, and leaving is hard! If you do want to be a bit more active, there are activities such as canoing, walks around the island (incl. a great sunset walk to the highest point). I recommend giving the town of Puno a miss altogether and coming straight here. This part of the world is all about the lake, and this has got to be one pf the best ways to experience it.
