Dirty Hotel - Poop and Blood on toilet seat

The moment we walked into our hotel room we saw that the floors hadn't been cleaned (carpets and bathroom floor). When we walked into the bathroom we saw poop and blood on the toilet seat - it was absolutely disgusting. The counters and nightstand were also dirty and looked like they hadn't been cleaned in God knows when.

Had a double view of both mountains and lake, which was enjoyable. The room was nice, except that the bathroom sink stopper was a bit askew, but when taking the stopper off, the sink worked fine. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The indoor pool is lovely and workout room also is nice. Would stay here again.

the Hotel had no housekeeping services, no water in the room, just paper cups to get water out of the faucet no online check-in or early check-in so waited for a substantial period of time to check in. we have traveled and stayed in many hotels and I have to say overall this was the worst Hotel we have ever stayed in and I would never recommend it to anybody else.

The soda machine was empty for both days we were there. Had to go down stairs and pay more for water to take my medication and to get a Pepsi for our mixed drinks.if they are going to have them, at least have them stocked.

REGRETS! Would NOT stay here again.

Overall, our stay was okay, but we wouldn't stay here again. The room was okay, but this hotel/casino was like the one that time has forgotten. Bally's Lake Tahoe needs much TLC. Our room seems to have been recently updated, but it looked like it was a DIY project and the bathroom walls were dirty. The overall condition of the resort was dirty and worn out. The best way to describe our experience was that we stayed in a resort that really felt unattended by staff and lacked much needed attention. Arcade and game room were vacant of any staff and during our three day stay I only saw 1 server on the casino floor and, their cafe offered only a minimal selection of coffees and food items. Our dinner and service at their Cafe del Soul restaurant was nice. However, one nice dinner does not make up for all that was wrong with this resort. Again, in an area that offers so many options for a nice vacation stay, I would not recommend staying at Bally's.

The check-in time was 4pm; we arrive a little after 6 pm. However, our room was not ready. The person who checked us in said the room was clean, but that the bed linens need to be changed and they would do that within 15 minutes, but we could go up to the room. When we walked in the room, it had not been cleaned. I assumed the staff was overwhelmed as they were having some technical issue, but I had to call the front desk twice to get housekeeping up there. Now housekeeping was fantastic. They were super nice and friendly. But that doesn’t change the fact that my room wasn’t ready until 7 PM and the concert I was there to attend started at 7:30. I had zero time to get ready. Given the amount that I paid it’s really disappointing. They did comp the resort fee, but that’s negligible considering my room wasn’t ready for almost 3 hours after check-in time.
