This hotel is fabulous. I love the free coffee,tea, hot coco, great touch. Close to Kyoto station. Friendly staff. Modern and lots of amenities. My only complaints are the rooms are way too small, too small for 3 people and luggage. Beds could be softer for sure. Cost for breakfast is ridiculous overpriced. Seems to be the going thing here in Japan. Only one out of four hotels we stayed at included a buffet breakfast and it was great.. more should get on board for offering free breakfast or at a minimum a reasonable price.

We had a very comfortable stay despite only staying one night. We stayed in a standard single bed for 2 travelers - the room felt a bit small with our 2 checked luggage and 2 carry-ons, it can feel especially tight if you have clam shell style luggage taking up space. Despite the space, the room was very clean and interiors were of modern design. Breakfast was included in our booking and the breakfast choices between Japanese and Western cuisine were excellent! Super close to Kyoto Station and very walkable to many shopping & dining options. Also, big bonus if you plan to take the limousine bus to Osaka International Airport (Itami) - the bus stop is literally down the block, so you don't have to lug your baggage very far at all! I wouldn't say this area is completely quite (it is near the station afterall). But after staying in a different part of Kyoto all week, you don't hear the engine revs *as* badly at night. In the morning, I awoke to the typical street sounds of delivery and garbage trucks. If you want a completely quite stay stay, then find lodging in the outskirts of town. Staff is very friendly and helpful and multilingual. I wouldn't mind staying here again!

The location was fantastic , the station being literally across the road. Plenty of restaurants inside the station . The room was very small . Difficult for one adult to get into bed from one side . The bathroom was tiny but clean. However , there was no place to even hang a towel or clothes . At least one or two hooks or rack should be provided

The hotel is extremely convenient to the train station restaurants and shopping. The staff is extremely pleasant and accommodating. The breakfast was wonderful. The room is a bit small but very clean. Kyoto was a wonderful city to visit....

Don’t stay here

There was absolutely no service at this hotel. We needed an extra towels, you had to go to the front desk, and had NO face cloths. They provided a water kettle in your room, but no tea or anything, had to go downstairs to get it. They copied our passports twice, once before check in, and again at check in. They had no concierge service, if you were early, they let you enter a room where you had to lock up your own luggage. There was only a breakfast buffet, with no other food or restaurant on site. Upon check out, you received no service, and to use a machine. Would never recommend this hotel to anyone to anyone, and couldn’t believe Hotels.com gave it over a 9 rating!

Very very convenient for a quick overnight stay in Kyoto. We had the family room (4 beds), which was spacious with a nice tv and sitting area. Bathroom was very nice as well. Staff were very friendly and the lounge area for guests was a nice touch.

Perfect location. South of hotel has endless amount of great low key food options. Immediate access to station is so important for getting around Kyoto and neighboring areas. Staff incredibly kind, English friendly.

Location is very near to the Kyoto station and there are options to dine and shop nearby so very convenient. The guest lounge is nice place to rest and grab a coffee. I would stay here again.
