We had a great stay at Hopp Inn Kyoto. The hotel is modern, clean, and very comfortable, with thoughtfully designed rooms that made our stay easy and relaxing. The location is excellent—close to public transportation and within walking distance of many shops and restaurants, making it a perfect base for exploring Kyoto. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always welcoming us with warmth and great recommendations. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kyoto.

Aircon unit had a bad smell when turned on so we didnt use it. The fridge has a very noisy buzz sometimes. Since the room is very small, these problems made it hot and noisy and we had trouble sleeping. On the plus side, its in a good location and the onsen was a bonus. We found that the rooms were very nice and the location of the hotel was convenient. The only blemish is that there weren't enough washing machines and the dryer did not dry clothes even after running it for 3 cycles.
