Honest review : Staff was very nice and helpful (for the most part). We had an issue with our neighbors being excessively loud and the combining room door is paper thin, so we heard everything ALWAYS. They would come home at 1am and were so loud and inconsiderate. I understand they are there on vacation and having a good time- just hard to get over when you’re in a dead jet-lagged sleep and woken up abruptly. We had called the front desk but nothing came of it. Then after we checked out ( which I will admit we were 30 mins late getting out of the room) I had asked the receptionist for some water- she came back and told me “no, not for you anymore” of course with a smile. Guess when you check out- you are no longer considered a guest. The room was great, curtains blocked the sun and gave great privacy. The pools were clean and perfect temperature. I really disliked the chaise lounges- they were not good for reading or neck support as they do not adjust in the slightest. The breakfast buffets was wonderful and stoked constantly. We would definitely go back.

Location great however the hotel itself was very dated and in need of attention. Swimming pool 2, the jacuzzi area the concrete was coming away, subbed broken. The swimming pool next to the beach had saved beds from 7 o’clock in the morning so unable to use. No beach sunloungers as advertised on Expedia. Breakfast very poor quality and most staff wore a ‘training’ name badge and clearly had no leadership or support from the management. Every day the restaurant ran out of cutlery, cups, bread and other breakfast items which meant having to ask the staff to fill up .. this seemed to cause confusion. Dinning chairs broken. Staff didn’t clear tables when other tourists had finished breakfast so you needed to ask for a table to be cleaned. Wi-fi was very poor. Overall very disappointing, overpriced and in need of staff training and updating in all areas.

We enjoyed our stay at the Sand Sea Resort. The rooms were clean, the location was great, the staff was friendly, and the grounds were well kept. It’s not a 5 star resort, but it is a great value. The only negatives I have are: 1) the walls in the room were thin and we heard our neighbors very clear, especially late at night, and 2) the pillows were not comfortable. But still a great spot for the price!

O Hotel estava muito limpo e o atendimento muito bom. O café da manhã o tem uma farta opção de café da manhã, com grande parte dedicada a culinária local, mas também tem itens ocidentais como pães, geleias, queijos e frutas. O hotel é bem grande e tem entrada pelas duas principais praias. Conta com piscina de frente para o mar e piscina no meio do resort, pra quem quer mais calma e conforto.
