Here’s the updated review with that added: Everything was great overall. The resort and the surrounding area are fantastic, and the staff were amazing—very friendly and helpful. The food was good, and the breakfast was great with plenty of options. The only downside was the room: it felt quite worn out and outdated, and you can tell the resort has been around for a long time. That said, despite this one issue, we were happy with our stay and enjoyed our time there.

We can highly recommend this hotel. The breakfast was fantastic. The rooms were cleaned every day, and towels were changed daily. Free towels were available at the pool. There were several different restaurants with great food. Daily activities were offered both in and outside the pool. Free paddleboards, canoes, and windsurfing were available. You can rent a Hobie Cat if you’re ready for a fast ride on the ocean. There is a super nice gym with new equipment – a real gym with everything you need. Table tennis, Thai boxing, good spinning bikes, as well as bathing and sauna facilities. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful and always smiling. The park was very beatiful with lots of animals. The location is excellent. Amazing sandy beach and two big pools. South facing so got lots of sun. We had a club suite which was vey spacious lacked a luxury feel. Overall an excellent 4 star hotel than 5. All staff most helpful and friendly. Good value for money

The room was clean, the accommodations were quiet and the staff were very friendly. The only thing is RC facing room really didn’t have an ocean view so that was kind of a bummer and it’s a pretty long walk from the hotel rooms to the lobby for breakfast however, if it’s raining, they’ll give you a driver in a golf cart. I thought the grounds were really beautiful. The pool was fabulous.

Amenities were amazing, staff so caring, 3rd floor level room with a view was lovely and comfortable, the grounds beautiful, pools were absolutely stunning but ultimately the beach was pure paradise. Clear water, mostly empty with some interesting views surrounding. Some nice restaurants in the area but not much else. Would highly recommend for a calm and peaceful stay out of the hustle and bustle of Ao Nang town, but only a 20min grab ride away to explore the night markets in the evening.

A really nice resort. It’s big and the beach spot is perfect for a quiet getaway and nice sunsets. Will come here again when I am in Krabi.

This was my first stay at DTK and in Thailand and I must say the property is huge! And while the overall experience was great, there's room for improvement. The check-in process felt too long, especially since the room was ready and arriving after hours at the airport makes a quick check-in ideal. The breakfast spread and ambiance were enjoyable, and I absolutely loved the pools and private beach, which offered a great sense of privacy. The room was decent with no major issues, but the lack of USB ports was disappointing, as most modern hotels now include them. The pillows were quite flat and not the usual soft, plush ones you’d expect from a 5-star resort, sinking in too easily when used. There is a 7E and pharmacy just beside and across the resort too. The staff will bring you to your room via buggy service that covers the resort due to its size.
