The room shown in the photos is completely fake. The actual room was about 4 square meters, barely enough space for one person to stand. There were tiny bugs on the bed, the water heater in the bathroom was broken, and the room had no window. It was impossible to take a shower at all. I had to hold my breath and endure two nights. Charging USD 133 for this room is a scam.

Host MJ is so nice. Very clean and small. So close to waterfront and pricey Peninsula. One bus back to airport. Walkable to star ferry. Many convenience stores and restaurants nearby. Save money and stay at V Inn!

The staff was rude (this is not a 5 Star hotel) and gave false information on the website (late arrivals accepted if announced). Despite prior notice and calling to check,I was told that the staff has gone home. Then after email contact, told not to waste their time. I did not receive any refund though was told that they would consider it. I spent the night at the airport. Basically terrible.

Can't Expect Much from a budget Inn. For its price maybe its still worth it. But any inn/hotel should pay attention to room cleanliness and comfort, even if they are budget options.

Cramped in Kowloon

The room was marketed as a room for 2 persons, but it was so small that only 1 person could could walk around at a time. The bed was a twin and the sheets had stains on them, the towels also had stains and holes in them. In the bath/shower a shelf was missing which left little place to put anything. The location is nice but there are many pushy guys near the hotel trying to sell you custom suits or a fake Rolex. Easy walk to Victoria Harbor and restaurants. This room would be ok for a single person or very small couple.The staff was friendly but for the price I paid i expected a bit more.

Notorious small room. Toilet too small for any business. Complicates environment. Have to wait eternity just for a lift ride up or down. Ladies , please avoid at all cost. You will not like it at all.

The sheets had white stains and smelled like air freshener was sprayed over it to camouflage its real state. Was in other better hostels in the same Mansion with the same price range. The floor rug was very dirty and it seemed like it was not washed.

You get what you're paying for

Extremaly small room but one of the cheapest options for accommodation in the centre of Hong Kong. For hotel 3* price was 3 times bigger!!

No plan to go back!

Booked for 2 nights, room was ok w/3 beds. Thinking we can stay on the same room, decided to stay for 3 more nights, unfortunately the room where we stay, need to renovate, give us another room on the other block, want to check the room first states need to be clean. Later we find out, the room very very small with 3 of us, you can hardly move around. My sister in law from the Phils, trying to contact us for very important message & able to give the message to the V Inn staff & states will forward the message to us, didn't received it. We find out when we got home that another hotel been trying to get a hold of us. But it's too late.

Awful neiborhood.

If you don't want to listen to annoying Indian men shouting about drugs and "smt special" when you are walking around, you'd better choose another district. Very colorful hood. But there is something romantic in this.
