In the heart of Thredbo

Pros: Comfortable, great value in the middle of Thredbo, Good for mountain bikes
Cons: Communications from Wotif. THey didn't explain there's a code on the front door, and didn't tell the lodge we were coming.
Location: Thredbo is a great summer location.
Club lodge style experience. Staff super helpful and friendly, in spite of having no record of my booking from Wotif. Self catering in well equipped kitchen, continental self serve breakfast provided.

Aneeki ski lodge

We found the lodge just right for our stay. The lodge was neat and had everything we wished for. Plenty of snow at the top and great to climb the summit. This together with a very friendly manager Ian. We wish we could have stayed longer. We will recommend Aneeki ski lodge to our friends, Thank you.

All about the Atmosphere.

Pros: Atmosphere, knowledgeable management and location.
Cons: Extra pillows?
Location: Good location in the village for everything
There is a nice atmosphere to this place, particularly when you are talking over breakfast, around the fire watching the snow come down, or on the balcony watching the fireworks at night. It is well set up, well run and there is a care to the guests experience there. The rooms are small and sparse, but adequate. The kitchen, dining and lounge are well appointed.

Quaint chalet in Thredbo

Great location. Easy access to and from the snowfields. Very reasonably priced. The staff and owners are lovely: Ian, the host, goes above and beyond. All in all, a very chilled place to stay. :) Robert

Ski Thredbo, we liked it

Very friendly, clean cumfy room, communal lounge area with warm fire, nice clean communal kitchen, short stroll down to thredbo village shops. We left ski gear in our car down at the overnight car park, in the morning we would catch the free shuttle bus down to our car, get our Skis/ board then short stroll across road to ski lifts. Worked out well. THANK YOU TO ALL see you next year M

Comfortable and friendly

Cons: It would have been nice to have an open fire while we were there. For valid reasons this was not possible but will be rectified soon I believe.
We had 3 nights at Aneeki lodge, we arrived early but the lodge manager was very accommodating and made us feel very welcome. we were provided with maps and information on the area and lots of local knowledge. The lodge itself offers beautiful views from the balcony and lounge are. Beds were comfortable and rooms clean. The kitchen is clean and very well appointed, breakfast and some basic essentials are also provided. Thredbo was beautiful in April and If I return I would not hesitate to stay at Aneeki again.

Great spot - dreadful access

Pros: The kitchen, lounge and bathroom facilities are fine for a shared area. Great view and in the village at a reasonable price.
Cons: ACCESS!!!! and the bed squeeks and the sound proofing is non existant!
Location: Good location, lots to do.
Should have been warned that we had to cart our gear up about 50 unstable steps and were not told we had no parking allowed until after we had paid for our non refundable accommodation!!!! After we relaxed we found Aneeki very pleasant and in a convenient position in the village. Good basic facilities and comfortable, just very difficult access and a long walk to the car park - 1km!!!.

Elevated accom, communal living, eating & bathroom

Pros: Good views, good beds
Cons: Let us know, prior to attending, that there are no towels provided. Let us know, prior to attending, that parking is distance from the accommodation.
Location: Good location - close to the village
This was good accommodation for the budget conscious traveller. Beds were comfy and rooms were clean. Its a communal living arrangement outside of the bedrooms so expect to share kitchen, living and bathroom facilities. There is no close parking and a steep climb to the lodge.
