I was there in the off season in Autumn, and so it's a bit hard to judge atmosphere as the village was very quiet. The staff were friendly and the room we stayed in was spacious enough. Our room's front door opened straight to the outside, which would make for easy access to the room if coming in off the snow during Winter.

Stayed here with my son for a trip to hike the summit and had a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond, even allowing us a late checkout so we could complete our hike after bad weather the day before. Breakfast was amazing!! Great views and a stone throw away from the village. Perfect location and excellent service—would definitely stay again.

Lovely stay. Was a little disappointed that the restaurant and bar were not open but understand it was off season. Also understood per ad there was parking on site but had to park in public parking some distance away, difficult when I was very sore from hiking. Staff were very friendly and appreciatef room upgrade .
