We stayed in Japan for 3 weeks this summer. The hotels were excellent, except for this one. This was the last 4 days of our trip. This was not a friendly nor clean hotel! I am going to save the specifics of this terrible review for Expedia and The ANA Crowne Plaza Kobe in hopes that they will make it right!

This hotel is not at all luxurious. Our room was old and bordering on dingy. Dated furnishings and very limited technology, like air conditioning control. The gym had equipment that looked like it was from the 1980’s. Good location and views of Kobe.

The facility itself is getting old and dated, reminiscent of the days before the economic bubble burst. Updating the facility by removing old carpeting and updating the bathrooms will renew the hotel for a modern feel. Convenient location for travelers and a great breakfast buffet.

The perfect place to stay when catching the bullet train the next day. There’s a covered walkway that gets you quickly to the station. The breakfast was the best we had in our month in Japan. Staff were welcoming and helpful. We loved the quiet of our room.
