Good employees, not so great bed or noise level

The room was clean, the breakfast was good. The bed was awful. The mattress was just super cheap, hard and springy all at the same time. When one person moved the other had to hold on lest you get launched out into the floor. The hotel was VERY noisy. I was woken up twice, with frantic knocking somewhere at 2:30 am and again at 6:30 with banging and yelling. The front desk area smelled horribly of cigarette smoke. The employees were very nice, it just wasn’t a great stay.
