Staff was friendly and competent. The courtyard is a draw because it’s nice to sit out in the evenings. Place was clean enough although the carpets felt a bit gross. The shower in our suite was ridiculously small. If you have a bedroom, there is no airflow so you rely on the noisy air conditioning, but the location on the highway is loud so it’s loud no matter what. It would help to have some hooks on the walls for clothes and towels and bathing suits, etc. No one reads the pool rules so there were people in the hot tub in their clothes, which made the water really murky which was very unappealing. The breakfast is lack luster, thin greasy bacon, weird whole warm eggs(?), dry bread for toasting. The apples and oranges felt like they’d been sitting for weeks, not days. Lots of yogurt though, coffee beyond terrible. I feel with a little effort they could do a lot better.

I booked to stay only one night as me and my family were driving across Canada and decided to stay the night in Kelowna. The room we were brought to not only had dirty towels, but also an excessive amount of black mold in the caulking of the shower. Our tv remote didn’t work either so when we called to get that issue at least rectified, they told us they can send someone the next morning to fix it. We were leaving that next morning so the solution was pointless. After waiting 2 hours, we ended up switching rooms to a suite which was much cleaner and had a working tv remote with no extra cost, so that was resolved.

Very desapointed, they say they are pet friendly hotel but the dog is not allowed on the property, not in the breakfast area, not around the pool and the dog is not to be left alone in the room, so dont leave the dog in the room but dont bring him to breakfast, very logical. I have been in multiple pet friendly hotel and my dog was never not allowed anywhere, I have a stroller that close completly with a zipper and I am always carefull to sit away from people. I will not be returning to a Days Inn hotel! You should take the pet friendly off your hotel !!

The morning of checkout discovered a major ant infestation. They were all over the floor, in my belongings, and even on my dogs. I mentioned it to staff at checkout, but since I was leaving, nothing could be done to resolve it. Unfortunately, the ants even came with me in my car afterward, which was a huge inconvenience. The room itself was fine otherwise, but the infestation made the stay very unpleasant. I didn’t receive any follow-up from the hotel after reporting it.

I like this hotel, staff were friendly and helpful. The cleanliness may not be as good as you would expect, but the rooms are pretty decent considering I think its an old hotel. The breakfast though needs some upgrading, they always ran out of eggs and bacon. They knew they have lots of guests and they didn't prepare enough food for their guests. So if breakfast is one of your considerations in booking this hotel, you might want to reconsider. Overall stay was good though.
