Its a beautiful property and an amazing pool. Staff was friendly with amazing food options. Hokuala golf course is my favorite course on Kauai and only a couple minute walk away!

Pool is great and there are usually chairs but it does get crowded. Lots of kids. The ocean right out front does sometimes get contaminated and becomes unsafe to swim in

Royal Sonesta is a high quality resort with immaculate structure and furnishings. There are plenty of restaurants (although quite pricey), beautiful grounds and gardens and an amazing pool. It’s a step across a walkway to the beach.

Genuinely cannot say enough good things, looking at everything holistically I can’t recommend enough. The pool area is amazing and this is one of few resorts I’ve been too with enough pool chairs! The beach is amazing and clean and again plenty of seating. All of the food was really good for being poolside and the drinks were also wonderful. Every staff interaction was top knotch especially when we were checking in. The property is very centrally located so short ride from airport but no airport noise or traffic at the actual property. Plenty of walkable coffee shops and stores. The rooms service is every other day but for us this did not bother us a bit and if we needed anything no doubt could have asked for it. Perfect for couples or families as the property is big enough and nice enough for either.

The property was clean and the staff was awesome., I feel that there should be closer parking for some of the rooms. Also more smoking areas would be nice for the people smoking. When I drink, expensive drinks I want to be able to smoke. I don’t want to have to walk 200 feet to a smoking area. When walking that far between drinks I tend to drink less. The party I was with all agreed. Nine people and we all went to our rooms early. Not as much fun, but we probably spent about $500-$600 less as a party drinking. May benefit you guys to think about that. Most resorts have the smoking area around the fire pits for the convenience of the patron!

Employees were so nice and made our stay feel personable by remembering us each time. Great pool and beach access and food was great. Live music in the lobby was one of our favorite things, wish there was more of it! Staff was quick with service and rooms felt very clean.
