We were very happy with our stay here. The staff were fantastic, the facilities and food amazing. The only thing I could pick is that it could do with a revamp soon as it's getting a bit tired in some areas, 1 was our tired old spa that could barely make any bubbles lol . Other than that we will be back for sure with the family next time !
We were thrilled by being upgraded to the Privilege Club. The staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to see to our every need. The resort is away from the hustle and bustle of the beach but close enough to get there easily. The room was amazing and the bedd very comfortable. It was great value for money as our deal included breakfast and dinner and I liked the fact that the dinner menu changed every night.
Originally booked a different hotel but wasn't too happy with it so moved to The Old Phuket at the last minute and am so happy we did. Our room (and it's amazing bathroom) was great and was really close to the pool. We regularly ate by the hotel pool and the food was great and there are also quite a few restaurants out the front that were also really nice. The location is also really good with the beach right out the front and plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance.
Best of all were the amazing staff who were welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The Old Phuket at Karon Beach is a Sino-Portugese-style creation that evokes memories of 19th century Southeast Asia. The …More
Karon Beach is one of Phuket's famed beaches which stretches for kilometres down the coast ensuring it never gets uncomfortably busy. It is ideal for families looking for a nice break with plenty of nearby conveniences but it also caters for all other kinds of travellers too.
When creating a checklist of things you would expect and hope to see on a Thai beach, Karon would probably tick most of those boxes. The beach is home to the usual array of soft sand, tropical palms, water sports, massages being offered beachside as well as vendors selling this, that and everything. We offer plenty of Karon Beach hotels within walking distance of the ocean and within walking distance of that tan you've been thinking about going home with. However, if you're after a bit of respite from the sun or you're looking a bit red from the day before then a great place to spend an afternoon is Karon Market. This is a classic Thai food market with all kinds of fresh, fragrant and occasionally unusual produce and for anyone with an interest in food it's a great introduction to the essence of Phuket cuisine. Another afternoon activity suited to the family is Dino's Park Mini Golf which is great fun as long as tempers don't begin to fray when losing is on the cards.
After the day is done, tourists emerge from their Karon hotels looking for food and entertainment and the area does not disappoint. A range of European restaurants exist along the roads set back from the beach but for the best grub we would recommended checking out any of the Thai seafood restaurants on offer. Karon has its fair share of pubs, bars and go-go bars but they are not in the same league as those in Patong and this generally makes a night time stroll from your Karon hotel a bit more pleasant and a lot more suitable for families.
