The site was clean enough, as was the room. And the area was conveniently located yet quiet. However, the manager or owner put me in a completely fowl mood before I even arrived and pretty much ruined my evening in kamloops. Expedia requires your phone number. This motel thinks that gives it a license to start texting you on your personal number and hassling you with questions that were already answered in your booking. Such as, what time will you be arriving.... then are you arriving with pets. I'm the customer. I'm not here to make your life easy or to help you with your texting addiction. You are supposed to be making my stay pleasant. Yes, I read when I booked that check in is before 8pm or make arrangements. And I did not book with a pet. So don't use my personal number to start bothering me on the start of my trip and my holiday. I'm trying to just enjoy life a little at that point, even though I'm in the middle of a stressful, very long winter drive. Really rude and I won't be booking there again. Will find another option. That didn't earn my return business

Quiet, clean, friendly staff. There were a few things that needed maintenance but the beds were clean and comfortable. This is our second time staying there and would stay again as the price is reasonable.

It was cheap, so can’t really expect much. As soon as we walked in we could smell the stale smoke. We opened the windows. There was a big air freshener on the floor in a bucket. It was extremely strong. We couldn’t leave the lid off. My husband suffers with asthma.
