This property is a bit dated but kept in a reasonable condition. It’s worthwhile to stay on the executive level with more space and access to the club amenities. Overall staff are friendly and try to be helpful. The downside of this hotel is its location, not convenient for any foreign visitor, it’s not easy to walk around the property, and with no easy assess to shops. This area of old Shanghai train station has been continuously undergoing road and subway renovations for many years without any sign of completion, which is uncommon in China. Noice from the construction can be heard throughout the night.

Rooms were really spacious and clean. Bathtub area was nice and well maintained. Only area which was a thorn in the stay was the toilets in the lobby area. They were dilapidated, unclean, broken doors with no toilet paper and no handwash etc
