Checked in for a 1 night couple stay in a Deluxe King room, check in was smooth, staff were helpful and courteous. Room was spacious, sound proofing was reasonable. Did not book with breakfast, so can't comment on breakfast quality or choices. Overall, quite a restful stay

Disappointing Room Conditions

Stayed one night at Grand Paragon Hotel, JB. While the check-in process was smooth and the staff were friendly, the room experience fell short. The toilet had a poor flushing system, and I could clearly hear guests talking next door in the middle of the night. Despite being in a non-smoking room, the guest next door was smoking, and the smell came into my room. Overall, not the restful stay I hoped for. The hotel needs to improve room maintenance and enforce non-smoking policies more strictly.

Family suite was spacious. We had to change room because the previous one wasn’t cold enough, there seemed to be some problems with the air conditioning. The second one was ok, we missed housekeeping the second day and asked for someone to empty the dustbin and bring 2 more shower gel and 4 bottles of water. We were only given 2 bottles of water and 1 shower gel. The housekeeping man came quickly to pass us the items without emptying the dustbin. The flush of toilets were not good. Had to push the button and hold it for 15seconds for it to be flushed completely. The flush button is the same for all the 3 toilet bowls in the room.
