Absolutely god awful experience. I booked the room obviously through Expedia. They claimed Expedia lied about having a King Size room available. Said they would upgrade my room. After checking in, I go to my room , to find that not only did they NOT upgrade me, they down graded me to a double bed room with view of construction. Instead of what I thought would have a balcony. They didnt even have trash bags in the room or a microwave. Apparently people used to steal the microwaves, so they make you request a microwave if needed. Which I was not told until after I checked out. But after checking in last night, I then realized after checking my bank account, I was charged AGAIN from the actual hotel. For a double bed room. Which of course was over $60 more than the king room I booked through Expedia. I brought it to the hotels attention, was completely blown off at first. And treated like an idiot. Finally got it taken care of, what I thought. The money was immediately refunded back in my account. Then after checking out today, I looked at my account, to find I was obviously charged from Expedia $259 (no problem at all there), AGAIN the $322, and for whatever reason $242 from the hotel also. After going back and forth all afternoon, they reached out, said they refunded my money. Still have yet to get it. They said it will take a few days for the bank. But it was an immediate refund last night. they say they reached out to yall about refunding my actual stay also.We shall see.

Hotel has great amenities with a great view. Lots of great restaurants around the hotel that are usually walked to. The bathroom were smaller and a little outdated other than that it was wonderful.

The location of this hotel was great, the staff was brilliant. However this hotel is considered resort, and there was nothing in it to reference it as such. The furniture and deco are very much outdated and the maintenance/ repairs are not to good standards. The amenities are very poor, there is only one small pool, one small gym, one restaurant that is very expensive and the quality of the food is not that great. This is the poorest resort I have ever stayed in .

Disappointing

Please see our full google review: One Ocean Resort and Spa: A Profound Disappointment Our recent stay at One Ocean Resort and Spa was nothing short of frustrating. Despite being advertised as a luxury resort, the reality was an aging four-star hotel with neglected facilities and subpar service. As a group consisting of two civil engineers and a physician, all extensively traveled, we were thoroughly disappointed by the stark contrast between the marketing and the actual experience. {{Facilities and Accommodations}} The hotel itself is outdated and poorly maintained. Room conditions were unacceptable— 1. door frames were loose, and the malfunctioning door handle required slamming to close, causing unnecessary disturbance (please refer to attached photos). 2. The bathroom sink edges were moldy, and drainage was so poor that water took minutes to clear (please refer to attached photos). 3. The exhaust fan emitted a loud shriek, further diminishing the comfort of the space. 4. Housekeeping was inconsistent—despite tipping daily, the room was often not vacuumed properly, and cleaning overlooked key details like the sink’s outer edges. 5. Basic amenities were also lacking. The TV was not a smart model, forcing us to purchase an HDMI cable since the front desk had none available. 6. Room was nice, air Conditioner did not work was fixed within thirty minutes, The? Bathroom toilet started running. And I have to fix it myself because it was the middle of the night, the flapper was falling apart. Was told i would get a discount, a week later never seen it.
