One of the WORST hotels I’ve EVER stayed in. My second and LAST time at a Spark by Hilton.
First room:
-Bathroom had short hair and dirt streaks all over shower walls
-Desk lamp was not working, hardly any light at night
-No lotion or shower gel, had to ask for toiletries to be refilled
-Power went out twice overnight, no hot water at 7am
-Internet in and out, had to rely on phone hotspot
Second room
-Pillow and case were covered in makeup and long strands of hair
-Bathroom mirror was covered in spit from person before
-Floor had not been swept/vacuumed, littered with several hard plastic ties
-Odor of tobacco/cigarettes
-4th floor hallway had large pothole sized “mystery” stain
-Internet in and out, had to rely on phone hotspot
To top it all off, the manager became nasty, angry, and AGGRESSIVE, raising her voice when I asked the second room be cleaned-like I gave HER a filthy room to sleep in.
I should have known they were shady and scammers, when they tried to charge me a higher rate, and tried to argue against my Hotels.com reservation which had an itinerary and had already been FULLY BOOKED.
Please do yourself a favor, pay a few more dollars, and stay somewhere decent–where at least there is clean bedding, working lamps, and soap to clean yourself. I would NOT stay here again FOR FREE.
