1. Check in: Was okay, associate could have been more helpful. Couldn't tell me if my room faced the front, back or sides of the building and said I could find out when I got up there.
2. Parked on the side where it looked like good lighting. Got out of car and noticed a man had the door propped open with a hand towel. There were two bottles of liquor on the ground, open. He was loading his vehicle, it appeared, said the hotel was not dog friendly. He had a small dog. Odd.
3. Walked over his stuff and into the hotel, up the stairs, running into a couple leaving around 5pm, one in pj's and hair in a bonnet. Odd.
4. Got into room which was on the other end of the building.
5. Then came the constant opening and closing (slamming) of doors, loud voices, etc. until around 9pm. Walked out to get something to car, noticed door next to me was not shut, on way back in an inebriated man said hello to me. He was kind...not sure where he was going or why he had his door propped open.
Next day, another associate on duty, very polite.
Not as many people around me, so much quieter settling in.
But the odd thing was a man sitting outside with an open beer, he got up and walked back inside hotel with the open beer. Not sure if he was the gentleman I ran into the day before since I was more concerned about getting into the hotel than his facial features but both were thin, smaller framed older males. Odd.
I don't know if the breakfast was any good bc I didn't go down.
