We really enjoyed staying at The Galata Istanbul Hotel. The room was spotless. We had a beautiful view towards the Golden Horn, the best sunrise and sunsets. If I go back to Istanbul, I'll stay here again.

The hotel was in a great location and the building itself was beautiful. The room was well appointed and had everything we needed. However the cleaning of the room was not what I would have expected, there was hair left from various guests in our room when we checked in.

The location of this hotel in Galata was very convenient, right next to the metro and Galata Tower. The Concierge Service was great, hotel was clean and the rooms were spacious with a nice design. The Hammam was amazing and highly recommended Hidade was brilliant. The concierge were helpful. The roof top bar has amazing views so don’t miss this hidden gem! To be honest this was the best hotel we stayed at during our 5 week Europe trip. We’ll be back!

The staff was very nice and helped us with all the questions and requests we had. The check-in was seamless. The valet was no issue, the car was parked right in front of the hotel. The room was clean, the bathroom and toiletries were exquisite. The location is also very convenient. Overall a very nice stay, would stay there again.

Hotel Galata situation is top, very near Galata bridge. It allow to go every where very easily, Take boats, trams and Undergroung to visit Istanbul. The staff is very nice and effective. Deluxe rooms are big, bathroom top. We didn't experience breafast and Spa (it cool be free access during the whole stay !)

I wasn’t aware of it when I booked the hotel but my favourite part of the stay was the historical Hamam in the hotel. I also got 20% off the Hamam experience for booking the hotel through Expedia. Otherwise the hotel was quite well located and had a good selection of tea. Only thing I’d note is that we followed the process for eco house keeping (I.e not having the sheets or towels replaced) but they were replaced anyway.

We had a wonderful stay and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The rooms were exceptionally clean, well maintained, and presented to a high standard. Throughout our stay, the staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. The only minor drawback was the room size, which felt a little cramped with two pieces of luggage, although we were able to make it work. We would definitely return and would happily recommend the hotel to others. We also took advantage of the complimentary Hammam experience offered to guests. While we enjoyed the treatment itself, we found the spa staff to be somewhat unhelpful, as very little information or guidance was provided about the process, which detracted slightly from the overall experience.

Great place to stay

The staff are wonderful and very accommodating, housekeeping is very good, restaurant was nice with great views and the hotel was in a great location.
