Great location and very friendly staff. Breakfast was decent, but it lacked variety (for example, no fruit and the same selection every day). There was very little natural light in the room due to the hotel’s facade design. In general, the lobby, elevator (with red lighting), and hallways were also quite dark, though I assume that’s part of the atmosphere they’re aiming for. I was also a bit disappointed with the gym, which looked much bigger and newer in the photos. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

The best Root in Istanbul
